Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the iOS app Lite Maps: 3D & Street View (“the App”), published by Soad Hamadeh (“we”, “us”). Last updated: 23 September 2026. By using the App you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the App.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The App is licensed, not sold.
2. What the App is
Lite Maps is a viewer for maps, satellite imagery and street-level panoramas, together with a geography guessing game. It is intended for exploration, education and entertainment.
- Street-level panoramas are photographs captured in the past, not live camera feeds. Imagery may be months or years old and is only available where it has been captured.
- Maps, place names, borders and routes come from third-party providers and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on the App for navigation in an emergency, for aviation or maritime use, or for any purpose where an error could cause harm.
- The App is not a live location-sharing or tracking service, and does not share your location with other people.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, resell or redistribute map data or imagery obtained through the App;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App, except where that right cannot be excluded by law;
- use the App to harass, stalk or monitor any person, or for any unlawful purpose;
- interfere with the App's advertising, or attempt to disrupt the services it relies on.
4. Advertising
The App is free and supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners. Advertisements are the responsibility of the advertiser; we do not endorse advertised products or services. Your ad-related choices are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party content and services
Map tiles, satellite imagery, panoramas, place data and ads are supplied by third parties, including Google, Apple, Mapbox, AppLovin and Liftoff Monetize. Their content remains their property and is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content, and their availability may change without notice.
6. Intellectual property
The App's name, icon, interface, original text and design are owned by us. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of third-party map data, imagery or trademarks, which belong to their respective owners.
7. Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the App at any time. Some features depend on external services and may stop working if those services change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of imagery or map data, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim that the App fails to conform to a warranty may be reported to Apple, which may refund the purchase price, if any; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation regarding the App.
11. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the App. You may end them at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
